EngKidz is proud to announce that our first group of Budding Engineers have successfully completed the 5 week long program! In the past 5 weeks we competed with NASA and built and launched our rockets! We pushed our water muscles to the extreme to do some heavy lifting with hydraulic arms, contributed to the well being of our planet by harnessing green wind energy, catapulted our simple machine knowledge to greater heights and distances, and finally challenged Tesla with our own electric cars!

During the 5 workshops, our 12 amazing budding engineers, supported by their guardian team members, put together their knowledge, skills and creativity to build these hands-on projects using the projects kits provided. In the process we learned new science concepts, played with simulations, saw amazing science demos (courtesy EngKidz Labs) and got introduced to STEM, all the while sitting safely at our homes!

Our Budding Engineers were from various corners of the Greater Vancouver Region – Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Langley, and Gibsons! We, at EngKidz are confident that Virtual STEM with project based learning can and should continue. Here’s to hoping our Budding Engineers will continue to build upon and re-engineer the projects to make even bigger, better and more efficient solutions.
