Hello Parents,
Here’s an opportunity to get your budding engineers and scientists excited about hands-on science and technology. Youth Science Canada is hosting a free three day virtual science fair. Each day is expected to have 2+ hours of kids activities including science themed Scavenger Hunts, Escape Rooms, fun quizzes, visits to 60+ science themed booths and best of all chances to win some prizes. According to their website most of the activities are geared towards grade 5-12 students.

TIMES: 9 AM – 12 PM (PST), but you can attend anytime during the day! Booth chats will only be open during those hours.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH PROJECTBOARD
All visitors wishing to fully participate in all the activities must create an account with ProjectBoard, a virtual platform. It’s free and easy! Create your account anytime between now and May 17.

- New user “Sign-up”
- What is your reason for registering today?
Check: “I want to view projects” - Enter your email
- Username: this will appear as you explore
so be sure to use a name that is appropriate - Choose a password.
- Check your e-mail to enter the verification code. Check your spam folder if
you can’t find it. - You will have to create a profile and upload a photo (optional). We
recommend a school logo. The brief summary should include your school’s
name.
For kids under 13 years of age, Parents will need to sign up.
