EngKidz provides hands-on STEM learning opportunities for youth.

Our afterschool programs enable kids to learn 3D Design, 3D Printing, Robotics, Engineering, Science, Coding, Arts and more.

All our programs incorporate the engineering design process, and allow kids to learn by doing. Hands-on STEM programs are an excellent way to pick up science concepts in a fun and engaging environment. An interest in STEM at a young age enables kids to explore STEM careers as they grow up. In every program, kids learn science concepts by building their take-home projects and interacting with demonstrations, simulations and quizzes.

The activities that kids take on in our STEM programs help build their capabilities in science concepts, teamwork and problem solving.

At EngKidz, we strive to deliver STEM education to all kids and youth that want to know more. It is our goal to build up creativity and a maker spirit in all of our students.

Our STEM programs can be taken as Live Virtual/Online sessions or In-Person through after school programs, Summer camps, Summer classes, live workshops at schools or classrooms and at local recreation centers.

Reviews of our STEM Classes

My child had an unforgettable experience learning and doing science with EngKidz as she was always engaged and very curious about each project. Understanding science is challenging for young learners. EngKidz team explained scientific ideas and processes using interactive and innonvative teaching methods that made learners pay attention and carefully follow the lessons. Very satisfied!Volha, Langley
My son did 'the Budding Engineer' online workshop with EngKidz and he loved it. He enjoyed every moment of it. Both Mayank and Ankur were patient wit hthe kids and made sure that the kids understand the scientific concepts behind each experiment and its application. Thanks Ankur and Mayank for this lovely experience. Looking forward for more workshops.Devyani, Vancouver
Great robotics workshop for kids. Introduction to the engineering and coding for a working root was provided. Kids built and coded their own robot over 5 weeks. Both the instructors were professional and patient. Kids were encouraged to think analytically and apply logic in developing code. Online teaching can be challenging especially when introducing new concepts. It was managed really well though. Highly recommended!Amy, Vancouver
Great program, very nice instructors. Every class has a different topic to explore. My science minded boy really enjoyed the classes. Will definitely participate in more future classes.Chaoyi S.
Instructors were warm and welcoming towards the children and were able to break down engineering principles into simpler analogies for the kids. Good use of videos/simulations to establish a good pace of learning and good choice of hands on experiments to demonstrate the engineering principlesKevin L.
EngKidz has been a great experience for my 7-yr old son Aidan. He's a bright kid that usually has a hard time focusing on learning but their hands-on experimental approach has kept him engaged. We've gone through the Budding Engineers, Code, and Robo Engineering classes and he's genuinely excited to log in, learn, and build with his teachers and class. As a STEM parent, this has been a great activity to get my kid exposed to engineering principles. The classes themselves have been fun activities to work through together, but aren't completely hands off. While the teacher's do make it as easy as possible with the kits and materials sent to your house, it does require a bit of Zoom and tech savvy to prepare some of the setup and software if your child isn't tech proficient yet. That being said, the online zoom courses have been much easier to attend and much less stressful educational activities during the pandemic. If EngKidz ends up offering follow up curriculum, after school project classes, summer camps down the line I'd happily be signing up again!Kevin D.
A brilliant idea and wonderful classes. A creative way to encourage imagination and engineering skills. The hosts are energetic, patient and great with communicating with children. Great classes for children who like to build, be creative and learn to use programs.Dan L.
Very accommodating, taught and spoke at a level my girls could understand and enjoy. Included a number of different ways to learn which kept them engaged and having fun. Final product was exciting to build and play with.Marcie F.
