Mon-Fri, 5:30 - 6:30 pm PST
*Including 3D Printed Parts
Deadline: March 19, 2021
Introduce kids to creativity and critical thinking through 3D design and 3D Printing with Tinkercad.
Participants' personalized 3D printed parts will be shipped to you prior to the final session (April 9th). A total of 6 sessions. Recommended for ages 7-14.
Typically 7-14 year old kids will enjoy the workshops the most, but we welcome all age groups who are willing to take on the challenge!
The projects are setup such that kids can complete them with minimal supervision, but we welcome parent participation.
We meet live online on Zoom or similar conferencing app. During Each 60-minute class, kids will work towards building a complete working 3D vehicle. Additionally, kids will learn about 3D design concepts using demos, simulations and challenges.
Cost for 3D Printed parts is included in the program fees. 3D printed parts will be shipped before the last class. Shipping costs for locations outside Lower Mainland are not included.
*Shipping costs for locations outside Lower Mainland is extra.
Program consists of 5 sessions of 90 mins each and includes project supplies.
Topics from the BC science curriculum will be introduced every week. Each class consists of interactive computer simulations, live demos, and one build and take home project related to the topic.
